Just $20 gets you $40 to spend on authentic African and Caribbean food, including the unique taste of Nigerian foods. Enjoy exotic-sounding dishes—like Jollof and white rice, Fufu, Akara, Moi-Moi and Egusi—plus some more familiar favorites—like seafood gumbo, steamed cabbage and okra. There’s a nice wine selection to accompany the food, and owner Ismaila and his wife, Mary Ann, pride themselves on the warm and friendly atmosphere.

African Continental Cuisine has been cultivating cravings in downtown Greensboro since 2011. The restaurant is open Tuesday through Friday 4 p.m.-10 p.m.; Saturday 12 p.m.-12 a.m.; and Sunday 12 p.m.-5 p.m.
