Bob Tumulo opened Rita's Italian Ice in the sweltering summer of 1984. The former firefighter had his first store in Bensalem, PA, and named it after his wife, Rita. Today, there are over 625 stores in 19 states. The Greensboro location is open daily from 12 p.m.-8 p.m.
