Housed in a former gas station, this eatery has built a reputation on old school BBQ—smoked Alabama-style pork ribs, pulled pork slow cooked in the North Carolina tradition, Texas-style brisket and Georgia-style smoked sausage.

Opened July 7, 2009, Ribit's BBQ is located at 401 S. Howard Avenue. Hours are 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday; 11:30 a.m. to 3 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday; 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 a.m. Friday and Saturday; and 12:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
