The essence of Germany has come to Tampa once again for the 2012 Oktoberfest. This deal includes half price the weekend admission and five beer tickets that can be used to get your first refreshing, 16oz brew. The event will be alive with traditional Schuplatt dancers, singing and swaying, all kinds of bratwurst and of course, beer. The inaugural keg will be tapped on Friday the 12th, and since your pass is good for all three days, there is no reason not to get in on this celebration as early as possible.
The Oktoberfest is being held at the Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in downtown Tampa, overlooking the Hillsborough River and University of Tampa. Tableside beer service and reservations are available in the VIP tent!

Oktoberfest originates from Munich, Germany on 12 October, 1810 when the marriage between Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese held a horse race at the end of the ceremony. It was this horse race that sparked the annual celebration.
