DealChicken loves the taste of a heaping of hearty bargains, like today’s deal from Dreamland Palace. This is the ideal destination for German cuisine, and now diners can dine on $30 worth of food and drinks for only $15-a 50 percent savings! Dreamland Palace features traditional specialties, such as prime roast of pork loin; beef rouladen; and a Dreamland platter of bratwurst with sauerkraut, potato pancakes, red cabbage and applesauce. The restaurant also features a variety of schnitzels, including Black Forest schnitzel, made with tender chicken topped with ham and melted Swiss cheese served on German potato salad. Now that's a deal to savor!
Dreamland Palace's German cuisine is lovingly made from co-owner Joan Lang's family recipes. In 1990, she and husband Mike Lang purchased the building at 3043 State Route 156 in Foster Pond and restored it to bring out its German charm. Those who want to experience authentic food in an authentic atmosphere can take a short trip to Germany by driving to the Dreamland Palace.

Built in 1875 by German immigrants, the Dreamland Palace building originally served as a tavern, general store, dance hall and stagecoach shop. Foster Pond, a stop between Waterloo and the Mississippi River, gave travelers a place to purchase supplies and rest their horses.
