DealChicken says pottery is a metaphor for life—in order to create, you first need to get the clay centered. You’ll have a chance to spin clay on a pottery wheel when you sign up for classes at half the regular price at Earth & Soul Pottery, located in Portland’s South End. You have three options for today’s deal—you can sign up to take a class by yourself, or you can bring along your significant other as the two of you learn more about pottery either in a group setting or in a private class. 

Earth & Soul Pottery is located at 34 Washington Ave. Private pottery classes take place on Wednesdays from 1-3 p.m. and 4-6 p.m. Group classes are available Thursdays from 6-8 p.m. and Saturdays from 2-4 p.m.
