Opened in 1976 by original owner Ralph Murphy, Murph’s Gaslight Restaurant has since become known as the “Home of the Original Pan Fried Chicken.” Even with the restaurant under new ownership, the original recipe has remained intact. And, of course, it's served with creamy mashed potatoes, country gravy and all the fixin’s.
