Today DealChicken invites you to enjoy a homemade Greek meal at The Parthenon Greek American Grill. Of course, he recommends the gyros, made completely from scratch. The chef seasons fresh lamb and beef with a special family-recipe spice blend. He also makes the Greek yogurt for the tzatsiki (cucumber-yogurt sauce) in-house. Of course, you'll find plenty of other favorites on the menu. Try the grilled pork kabob, stuffed grape leaves, mousaka (baked eggplant dish) or one of their many daily specials. Not in the mood for Greek? How about one of their fresh ground beef pitaburgers. You gotta get the baklava for dessert—also made fresh right in the kitchen. Yum!

The Parthenon Greek American Grill changed its name (from The Parthenon Restaurant) and moved to a new location a few years ago but the food and service remain the same as they've been for more than 30 years. Visit the still locally-owned eatery on US 52 West in West Lafayette.

The original owners moved from Cyprus, a small island east of Greece, in the mid '70s and eventually ended up in West Lafayette where the original Parthenon Restaurant was opened. It was one of the very first ethnic restaurants in the Greater Lafayette area!
