The four-hour trip includes all fishing gear—from rods to reels to bait, and a whole lotta sage advice. All you bring is the food, drinks and clothing for the weather. Fish Tales Guide Service takes lucky anglers out to learn the ropes on Lake Hartwell and Lake Keowee, with fishing trips available six days a week.

Hartwell Reservoir is filled with bream, catfish, spotted bass and others, but the most popular is striped bass. Some “stripers” in excess of 60 pounds have been caught on Lake Hartwell, with 20 pound fish being common. We’ll assume these “fish tales” are true.
