What is DealChicken?
The concept is simple. DealChicken alerts its subscribers to a fresh daily deal. Everyone who purchases the deal can redeem the deal the day after it closes, and start enjoying 50-90% on all the things they love to do, eat, buy and experience right in their backyard.
Who's behind DealChicken?
Sure, there are other social commerce sites. But the DealChicken difference is this: Behind every local site, there’s an already established quality Gannett media outlet with strong local business ties. DealChicken first hatched in Phoenix, but now, DealChicken is in more than 50 cities that are associated with one of Gannett’s owned and operated newspapers or broadcast outlets.
How do the deals work?
Here's how a deal hatches:
- Subscribe for our free email service, and be notified as soon as a deal first cracks open.
- Like what you see? Click the BUY IT button to commit to buying the deal. Deals expire, so be sure to act fast!
- Once the deal has been purchased, you'll receive a confirmation email with the details.
- Log in to DealChicken.com to download or print your deal.
- Certificates are redeemable the day after the deal closes, up until the expiration date (please read the fine print of each deal).
How will I be billed?
We will charge your credit card when your deal has closed. Because different deals run for different lengths of time,
there might be a delay between when you make the purchase and when the charge shows up.
Is my credit card information stored anywhere?
Your credit card will be stored on our secured servers. Each purchase made
through CreditSecure is an individual, safe transaction.
I signed up but I’m not getting my emails.
You should have received an activation email immediately after you signed up with DealChicken
to confirm your registration, which allows us to verify your email and account. Please check your Junk or
Spam folder for that email. If you aren’t receiving emails, be sure to add dealchicken.com to your Contacts
so the email does not end up in a spam or junk folder. You can also click on "Add To Safe List" or "Not Junk" in your
email application.
How do I modify my account or preference information?
Log-in to your DealChicken account, and click on “Your Account” to modify your account.
To modify your preference information or to unsubscribe, click on “Your Subscriptions.
How do I unsubscribe or opt-out of receiving emails?
You can opt out of promotional and marketing emails when you create your account, by using the
opt-out links provided in our emails, or by updating your email preferences within your account.
Can I use the DealChicken deal immediately?
For many offers, like restaurants, you will be able to redeem the next day. Others, like a theatre
ticket or salon visit, require appointments or reservations.
How do I use my DealChicken deal?
Once the purchase has been finalized, you will get an email with a link to your deal, which you can
print or download to redeem. The deal will also appear on the My Account page when you log in. Each deal has its own
redemption details, so be sure to read the fine print and follow the Merchant’s instructions.
Can I buy a DealChicken deal as a gift?
Some deals allow you to print and distribute deals to your friends as gifts. Always check The
Fine Print for details on whether gifting is available or limited. When it is available, this option will appear on the “Buy It” page.
Do DealChicken deals expire?
Yes. Each deal has a unique expiration period. All of the details on restrictions and
expiration dates will be posted the day of the sale and printed on the deals. Please read the fine print of
every deal. Please note that the expiration date is for the promotional cost only. Certificates are valid for
their original purchase price for five years.
Can I buy more than one DealChicken deal at a time?
Yes, as long as the merchant allows multiple purchases. The rules of purchase will be posted on
the day of sale. Many merchants allow multiple buys, but some will be restricted for one use only or first-time clients only.
Can I get store credit or use one DealChicken deal for multiple visits?
No. A single DealChicken certificate is good for one visit only. You will never be given store
credit or change back on a deal for use on a subsequent visit.
What if I have a problem with redeeming the deal or with the merchant?
We encourage you to get in touch with the Merchant directly to settle any
issues or learn more about the details. Their website and phone number are listed on the

If it has been less than 14 days since you purchased the deal, DealChicken can either provide a refund or credit your
account in the amount paid. If you would like to speak with a representative about receiving a refund, please Contact Us.
Unfortunately, we are unable to issue refunds or credits after 14 days.

I bought a Travel deal but can longer use it. Can I receive a refund?
If it has been less than 30 days since you purchased the deal, DealChicken can either provide a refund or credit your account in the amount paid.
Book early for your choice of travel dates.

What’s your policy for refunding merchandise deals (redeemed online)?
If you bought a merchandise deal (redeemed online), the Merchant’s refund policy will apply. Please contact the Merchant
regarding their policy. Please note that DealChicken does not refund or credit additional shipping charges. For more information
regarding refunds, please refer to Terms of Service.
Help! I purchased a deal but the business has closed or will not supply what I bought. Can I receive a refund?
Yes, if the business closes or refuses to provide the goods or services of the deal prior to the deal’s expiration date,
DealChicken will credit your account in the amount paid. Please Contact Us
