It might have something to do with yummy menu items like the Sushi Deluxe, with 10 pieces of nigiri sushi or sashimi and a maki roll. Then there’s the Siberian Tiger—a painted dragon roll with white tuna sashimi topped with avocado. For sushi with attitude, try the Volcano Roll. It’s a spicy scallop roll topped with hot sauce. Don’t like sushi? The menu includes surf and turf, Japanese fried rice, a kids’ menu and more.

Opened in October 2010, The Painted Fish is locally owned and operated. This area has a variety of independent boutiques and shops to explore. You'll find The Painted Fish on Spring Grove Ave, just south of Jacob Hoffner Park.
